Was in a nice old country general store tonight, and a few years ago they sold a lot of hunting related gear like boots, knives camo scents, that type of stuff.I was at the cash register and jokingly asked if the had any left over buck knives, and he reaches under the counter and pulls out a crushed up buck box,to which i was praying it was a old 110.lol

It was a buck model 103 skinner,I always wantd one so i asked how much ,$26.99.SOLD!

Not a bad find, looked in the box and found a nice application for the buck collector club with Joes ADDRESS,But its the old addy.lol, maybe i'll fill it out and mail it into the new local?

It pays to be alert to possibilities and ask questions.

Good score......how old was it?

That is the main reason I haunt antique stores. Aside from Buck knives, I have found all sorts of old cutlery. Just last week, came across an old Imperial two blade pocket knive with jugged bone scales. Needs a bit of clean up and then it will go to my grandson on his birthday. It's about time for the youngster to have his first pocket knife. One just like the first knife Grampa got from his grampa.
