I had a request from an avid hiker/outdoorsman for a general purpose knife for his daily travels in the woods. He gave me a general size range and wanted some sort of dark g-10 for the handle. The knife had to be tough enough to use hard but small enough to want to carry. The guy is a former LEO so I picked colors that I thought might suit a 'tactical' interest, though I hate that word for how it's applied towards knives these days.

Anyway, here it is.

Specs
1080+ steel, .178" at the ricasso
8 3/4" overall, 4 1/4" blade
Black g-10 dovetailed bolsters
OD green g-10 scales
Black micarta pins
Tapered tang
False edge, not sharpened
Agressive thumb grip but all sharp edges knocked off

I like every element of the knife. Beautiful clean lines, material choice, black and OD - it all comes together perfectly. Well done!

I really like that! Excellent execution on what looks to be a super functional knife!
