Here's a drop point hunter I just finished up. I've been doing a few more of these each fall, just in time for hunting season :) Specs : CPM 154CM with WSSI stabilized birdseye maple scales w/ red liner on a tapered tang and stainless hardware (guard, pins, tube) My skills as a knifemaker are progressing ;), I'm getting more comfortable with my solder joints, my grinding and something I struggled with, the polishing. Its all finally coming together. I hope you like her.

Can't say enough good things about this one. The design has that something about it that makes you say yeah, whatever it is, that one's got it, and the workmanship is excellent.

Wow :D Thanks VERY much guys  And yes Flatgrinder, this is built on a tapered tang. Thanks for the good words too ;)

That is as nice a "generic drop point" as I ever saw. The serrations on the top of the blade are an addition I have always wanted(after I got to using mine anyway). That handle material is gorgeous! Is there no end to knife lust!

I'm calling that a "CLASSIC" knife design.

Anyone one, anywhere could own and use a knife like that, 10/10 IMO

Thank you Redsnake  Thanks SpearZ :D

More Loveless than generic. It looks great.

Yeah, you're right on the money Keith ;) He's one of my favorites to say the least  And a huge inspiration  Thanks :)

Yes, I like the thumb notch's too. Quite functional. If you notice you'll see I miscalculated on the position of the guard and carried it one notch further back than I needed to. :o

The Birdseye came from just down the road. I had wssi stabilize it for me. Pics don't at all do it justice. It really is spectacular wood

And no Dr. ;) No end to the lust
