Geno Denning (cavemanengineering.com) studied under the late George Herron and is one of the best stock removal makers out there.

This is a new model of his the "Workin Man Hunter" and I feel it is one of the best custom bargains out there. It is a no nonsense, honest quality custom intended for hard use.
-specs are a 3.5" ATS-34 blade and an o/l of 7.75", black micarta slabs with red liners. Geno's exacting standards are reflected in the perfect and meticulous high hollow grounds. The flats have a scotch brite finish. It comes with one of Geno's high quality vegetable tanned leather sheaths
Fit/finish, balance and ergos are all you would ever want or need in a hunter.
Give him a call:D

Simple and sleek and ready to work - that's all good by me.

Further evidence to his terrific skill in stock removal is he won the "Best Fighter" category at the 2007 Blade Show with a sub-hilt fighter based on a George Herron pattern.

I just got back from visiting with GenO about a week ago. From the prices he has on he "Working class" knives, I think he is giving them away. They are great knives. If you have not had a chance to see the quality of his blades, one of these is the perfect way to check it out. You can't find anything close at twice the price. Oh, and he is going to have a few in the next batch in orange G10, and green canvas micarta for some different choices for your next hunting knife! (Of course, they were for MY next hunting knife!! :D)
