This is a 6 inch bowie that I just finished. It will get a sheath made from the alligator skin being used as background. The knife has a sambar stag handle and damascus blade. I believe the damascus was made by Nichols, but could be wrong about that and apologize to the maker for loosing track of this piece of steel. The guard and two of the spacers are made of blackened 1095 with a copper spacer that has a coined edge.

That is a very clean looking bowie, nice work! The copper spacer is a subtle but nice touch.

Great looking work Harry. You and Brother are sure turning out some nice stuff down in that jungle. Hope to see you guys again soon. Got to get my Green-Card renewed before I can cross the border.

Thanks guys. We get to play around with these things every now and then and it is fun.

Robert we know some guys that hang out near Georgia's West coast if you need any help. We will be hosting the Georgia Guild Meeting on Feb 14, might want to mark that on your calendar.

I like that very much. All the elements come together very tastefully!
The spacers and coined copper insert is are a nice touch.

What a great looking knife!!

Is someone going to have a really Merry Christmas???

Thanks again for the comments! I have been out of town for the last week with the family and not able to get to a computer. (It was fantastic!)

This knife is spoken for, but not a Christmas present. It seems like they all are spoken for these days... I don't guess that is all bad since it keeps us busy.

Hope everybody had a great Christmas and has a safe New Year!

Very nice work, Harry. Where is the February Ga. Guild meeting being held?

Charlie and I are hosting it at our shop in Statesboro. Information about the meeting and how to get directions to the shop should be available on the Georgia Custom Knifemaker's Guild site shortly, if it isn't there now. We would be glad to have you come if you can make it.
