nicely crafted ! i will share my secret with you to avoid pink horn 
after you sand the backs to 120 grit for better epoxy adhesion, very lightly (only enough to color them, you do not want paint filling all of the 120 grit scratches) spray paint the backs light tan and you wont get the pink showing through the translucence.
