Gentleman EDC, one a day

I have decide I need to cycle through my knives, and I hope to bring you along too.
My goal is to carry a different knife every day for as long as I can keep up, or as long as my supply lasts.

Day #1


A Camillus #2, a bit smaller than my usual carry, but a very practical little knife

I try and.usually succeed in carrying different knives every day.... Fixed, slip joint and modern folder...Cover all bases........

Day #2
This Grohman folder arrived yesterday. It exceeded expectations. It is a real outdoor knife all dressed up for church.

I am going the opposite route, I've been carrying (and using) a Buck 110 slim select for weeks on end doing everything from chipping ice off a huge block for ice coffee, to cutting up fabric and digging holes in dried up dirt since California refuses to rain or even cool down--- the edge has some chips in it and there's even small cut marks alongside the bevel. Occasionally ill use the bottom of a coffee cup to clean up the cutting surface a bit. Its turned into a real ugly knife but hey---

I am not sure how far I am going to get. I am setting up an organization strategy to prevent repeats. I am hoping that I can get through them all in under a year.

I am going to separate out some knives from the process, specifically some cheap knives. I will post those as I come by them. Part of this effort is to Identify my duplicates and knives that I don't need anymore.

Exclusions #1.


I don't carry fixed blades EDC, and the rest are either damaged or junk.

Actually the ruko silver assisted opener is something I do carry occasionally, a 8mov13 blade that is a good, cheap knife, but it gets excluded anyway.

How can a knife that says INTEGRITY right on the blade be junk?

Life is confusing and difficult enough , without "rotating" my gear .

But , I don't mind watching !

BF would be a strange place if everyone just had his own individual thread just to show off their own knives.
