I have satisfied my need of high end practical folders for the time being. I no longer work in agriculture and work in a hospital now. My daily carry is a Spyderco Techno now. I’ve turned my obsession towards handmade simple folders. What makers should I look at? I need one dress knife for dinner events with surgeons (has to have a pocket clip or I will lose it). It would also be nice if I could open them with one hand. So I’m looking for a hand made simple edc that looks simple and clean like a Sebenza and one that uses some exotic materials. Also, why do a lot of the smaller makers I find online not list blade steel? Drives me crazy. Thank you and God bless

I would go with a traditional slip joint and ditch the pocket clip.
I don't have a lot of wood inlay modern folders, but the bulk of my knives are 3" blade or under.

I am partial to Moki knives and have been looking at the Fallkniven folders
The Mcusta is a new addition for me. It is a bit larger than my normal collection, but still a reasonably sized knife and the build quality is excellent.
