Just finished this one up.
1095 steel. I clayed it during HT to get a hamon. This was the first time I've done a hamon, but I feel it turned out pretty well, I polished the blade to a high finish, then etched it slowly with hot lemon juice and a cotton ball.
Then after the blade was good looking, I dressed it up with some stabilized mesquite burl, and SS hardware.
