gentleman's knife

Hello everyone,
I currently carry a BM AFCK but I'd like to get something a little more acceptable for an every-day carry. I like the looks of the Mnandi, but at that price point it has been suggested that a custom may be better for a gentleman's knife. Can anyone direct me to some artists that offer gentleman's knives around $400-$500?
