Oh, his name is Pemba. So she and her family are from the Sherpa People... I already assumed it... :):thumbsup::) Great, hard-working folks.

The topi and the scarf go well together. The problem with the topis is the same as with the khukuri handles. You usually get them too small for western hands/heads in Nepal...
Those on the pics seem to have the right size.

The cashmere shawls are unbelieveably warm for their very light weight. I already got three of them in different colors from my last trip. Recommendation.
 
The HI ulu is awesome! I've got the very first one ever offered, and it's a great working chopper/skinner, etc...
 
Man that ulu is tempting. They really are fantastic utility blades. I had one custom made by a knife maker about 12 years ago...it was a disappointment. However it made me a believer in the design.

I need to give it another one a try.

Steely I love mine I bought about 2 months ago. I almost bought this one. Mine is exactly like this made by Kumar also. You’ll love it!
