Let's get posh in this thread.

There is already a thread on what would be an acceptable and practical knife to carry when wearing formal wear.

I've whipped out my fully serrated Delica.
It caused shocked looks, even though I took care to open it slowly with two hands.
Quite a feat of self control, as I had to open a lot of boxes.

So, rather then just ask what would be socially acceptable in an office environment, I ask: what knives qualify as fashion accessories to complement a nice watch or expensive pen?

Well, it's not a single bladed folding knife, but in my opinion a Victorinox Cadet or similiar small alox SAK looks classy enough for an office environment. I carry a Victorinox Pioneer Rancher with red alox scales and use it at the office. No here one sees a SAK as something dangerous, it's small and the shiny red alox scales give it a nice and non-threatening appearance.

I think a nice looking traditional knife with wooden handles would be a great option too.

I think the Burger/Skellern designed Boker Exskelibur deifinitely fits the bill. Its lines are smooth and sleek, and its light enough to fit in a shirt breast pocket. If youve got the dough, you might even get the real deal - The Burger EXK.

Same thing goes for the Benchmade 707 Sequel. The McHenry & Williams designed knife looks real smooth too. Its got aluminium handles with G-10 inserts.

Both are lightweight, smooth openers and the fact that they are "designer" knives means (at least to us), that theyll complement fancy watches ans suits quite well.

A large or small sebenza with computer generated graphics or wood inlays.

The small would probably raise less eyebrows than the large.

Check out the Swiss brand Klötzli. Very precise (as precisely put together as a Sebenza, with nicer finish) and high tech materials and design, very good general EDC for normal cutting tasks.
For little money, any SAK will be acceptable as well. The ones with metal (alox) handles do feel more upmarket.

A Case Peanut,Case Penknife,Buck Cadet,Vic SAK,and Spyderco Kiwi would all be acceptable alternatives.

I think my Spyderco Cricket is a great gent's folder. Looks like a semi-fancy money clip and the blade is "cute" enough to be non-threatening. A small SAK is also a good option. Not fancy, but non-threatening, functional and just fits in an office environment.

There are quite a few knives, which will fit a bill starting with swiss army under $20 and up to William Henry and customs, which can cost you few thousands $$$$.
If you will state your budget, it would be much easier to recommend.
When I dressed-up usually I carry my small Persian with custom scales or Kopa

These are my only 2 knives that i would consider to be gentlemanly....Kershaw Wild turkey in damascus (faultlessly smoothe)....and a John Lloyd slippy in 52100 carbon with walrus bone scales...

montblanc need to make a starwalker knife lol

seriously i have used a kopa and a chive for that role. the mnandi is something i am considering getting.

The silver ALOX SAKs are IMHO, very much a gentleman's knife.

Lion Steel makes several offerings with Cocobolo which are very classy looking.

Almost all case knifes are nice gentleman's knifes ,but some can get rather pricey. But really it all depends on what you want the knife for, if this is an EDC knife then you might want something bigger like a victorinox alox knife. Just remember think about what you need it for then choose whats best for you.

You may be able to get away with a Spyderco Michael Walker or Chaparral.
A better bet might be the Moki knives, along with some of the models by Mcusta.
