Hi guys--- :)

Here's a new one, fresh out of the shop.

I'm a huge fan of big blades, but most folks can't actually carry a big 'ol knife. Most folks could, however, carry this one. Since "concealed" seems to be a dirty word, I try to be careful using it. :foot: ;)

It's a stout little blade forged out of 1084, with my favorite profile for a fighting bowie (some belly for slashing, a point that can penetrate much like a dagger, and a sharpened clip), 416 stainless guard & domed pin. The stabilized Koa handle is slender (only about 1/2" thick).

Thanks for looking! :)

The handle looks flat on the sides, but the "flat" actually has a slight crown. This is not supposed to be a big handful of knife... but for the intended grip, it is, IMHO, very comfortable.

Absolutely amazing I haven't seen a knife that intrigues me this much in a long time!

OH yea! I love everything about that knife!

Great profile and size.... very appealing.

There is only one thing I don't like about that knife.. Its not in my hands. :(
That is one truly well done package from concept to completion.

Thanks guys! :)

Thanks Kevin, here they are--- :)

OAL- 9-5/16"
Blade- 4-13/16"L x 1-1/16"W (at widest) x 0.216" thick at ricasso (nearly 1/4")

Very nice Nick. I would say that is a winner. Perfect size.

Hmm... Vernonia to Castle Rock. Yep. It's doable. When can I start to be your apprentice? Nick, I really like your work!

That is way cool Nick. Would you say it could be classified as a "vest pocket Bowie" due to its size? Obviously this would be better referred to as an "over the butt cutter" due to where it's located but you get my drift right? I love the lines on this piece, especially the blade. I've been meaning to try some sort of small, vest pocket type Bowie and you have definitely inspired me. Thanks for sharing and for dressing up for the picture!

That's cute, Nick. Nice size. I really like the carry option...gonna have to talk to my leather guy. Fine package.

Why to nice to dirty with blood.

Great execution Nick!

You're...I mean it's...that's HOT! ;) Well done love the small size! Would be awesome with Micarta.

Could it be classified as a butt pocket Bowie? LOL!!!!

Just kiddin my friend, it's beautifully done. I'm sure the customer will be stoked.

I normally don't like gentleman's look, Bowie blades, or for that matter most things like this at all. In fact if someone described this to me without a picture I'd prolly say. Meh sounds okay. But this looks AWESOME

HaHa, LOL :p

I'm hiring the Mikes to do my marketing! :D

Mike D- I think it could be called a vest Bowie. To be brutally honest, I don't know what exactly qualifies or disqualifies a knife as a vest Bowie other than being small-ish. I know Harvey Dean's Huckleberry is classified as one, and it's a similar size (but with Harvey's awesomeness!!! ). But what do you mean about dressing up? That's what I was wearing in the shop... ;)

David- Thanks! Funny you mentioned that, I have been thinking a ss blade with G10 guard and handle would be nice for this type of knife. :)

Thanks guys! :)
