I've been looking at a lot of old, antique Bowies and this one is intended to be along those lines.
Blade & fittings are 1084 & handle is Ebony.

Thanks for looking.

I'd say you captured the essence of what you described perfectly with this knife. Nicely done!

That is very nice! Clean and straight forward.

Thanks very much gentlemen. I found Bill Adams' book of antique Bowies a great source of inspiration.

Great piece David! I think you definitely nailed the "Classic" style that you had in mind. It's very clean, with nice crisp lines and an elegant overall look. Nice work my friend!!

Ill second the above. More than a hint of classic Bowie style with loads of practical features.

Mike, BladeScout & Kevin - thanks guys, I appreciate you commenting.
Leather sheath pics added. I've been meaning to make a loop sheath for some time now & this one seemed appropriate to give it a whirl.

David, great job, I really like the look and the clean lines. What are the dimensions on the knife?

Thanks Trevor,
The blade is just over 7 1/2" and OAL is 13". Thickness is 5/32" (I wanted it light & fast).
It's a mortised handle and the tang is very substantial and extends to within 1/3" of the butt.
The guard is friction fit & soldered.

Thanks again.

David,
What everyone has said is right on the mark, You NAILED This One.
Thank You for sharing this with Us.
