Thought I would share this one with you.
Damascus 1095 and 15N20
7" blade 12"OAL
stainless fittings, damascus and copper spacer
ironwood

Very nice! Actually no, not nice, but mean. Pointy and mean. :) It looks very decisive and purposeful.

I like the dark etch of the damascus and the no-nonsense blade shape. The spacers look great with the ironwood and I like the lines of the handle too.
 
It does have a pointy all business look to it! I like it, but it looks more like a fighter than a bowie to me.

In general the knife is very nice. I find the guard a bit large for the overall ergonomics of the knife and also, find the color of the guard and butt too light in tone compared to the rest of the knife. Because the eye looks to the lightest and brightest object and points of intersecting contrast, the eye tends to focus on the guard and not the blade. Perhaps a damascus guard and butt or even a blued guard and butt might be considered. O/W I like the blade and handle shape and the wood looks very nice.

I really do appreciate the comment. I can now see what you mean about the eye going to the lightest or brightest part. I will keep this in mind with others.

I post here to get feedback from others as this is what will help me get better at doing what people like.

Of course I would like positive feedback but if it is in the way of constructive criticism and that is what I need let’s have it.

Without the feedback from you guys I guess that I would have to assume that all the viewers like it.
