Let's see some Gents Fixed blades, somewhat a broad category but usually a smallish, dressy EDC either pocket or belt sheath..... or whatever.

I suppose this could be carried by a gent but as it is, it was a gift for my wife made by Barb Lorchner who has left the world of knifemaking. This was her 4 th knife

medium800.jpg

again owned by my wife but certainly something an elegant gent could be happy carrying -- Butch and Judy Beaver

medium800.jpg

The top one is certainly a gents carry done by George Cousino

medium800.jpg

a stunner by Charlie Bennica

medium800.jpg

a nice and well done Wharny integral by Billy Mace Imel

medium800.jpg

from a maker that we don't see much of anymore -- Rob Brown

medium800.jpg

Lyle Courtice (long time passing) and Warren Hargraves

medium800.jpg

another of my wife's by Bob Crowder. Sheer elegance!

medium800.jpg

DF Kressler and Jon Robin integral gents knife -- this is about as elegant as one could wish for

medium800.jpg

Jose deBraga -- he will be at the CKG show in a month in Toronto

medium800.jpg

More will come as this thread proceeds.

Murray, that Kressler/Robin is just gorgeous! Do you happen to know what material the handle pins are?

Here's a few,

Time for a bit more "heat"

from the forge of John Etzler

medium800.jpg

a number of years ago my wife bought this piece from Brian Lyttle and it simply defines a "Gents FB"

medium800.jpg

so in return I purchased this one for her from Brian but this still would make a fine concealed FB for the finest of gentlemen

medium800.jpg

at a CKG show Brian offered this as a drawing and my good friend Roger Pinnock was the lucky winner and a few years ago he sold this Brian Lyttle piece to me and again, it is certainly of the gentle manly persuasion

medium800.jpg

could a Gentleman be happy with this Brian Lyttle knife that he calls the "Scalper"

medium800.jpg

and this Lyttle piece certainly passes the test of a Gents FB and is like the Scalper, a fully take down done in San Mai

medium800.jpg

This is another Brian Lyttle which I purchased for my wife but as a Sgian Dubh we know "Gents" carry them in a stocking -- kind of like Xmas

medium800.jpg

the more one sees of Brian's knives, the more one appreciates the "gentleman and knifemaker that he is"

medium800.jpg

Mike Franklin created this lovely little pearl handled Gents knife -- a bit of a mate for the DFK posted earlier

keep them coming guys.

Kinda like Kevin's:
Michael Rader integral with Paul Long sheath.

By the way, Kevin, what position does your sheath ride in? Vertical, horizontal? Thanks.

Kyle Royer JS test knife

Jerry Fisk Gamemaster on top (Best Fixed Blade at Blade Show '09)

Herb Derr with mighty nice materials and filework

Wally Hayes for the Japanese gentleman in me, STeven, and Joe : )

Kevin Casey with very pointy blade of Hanson W2

Rob, that's always been one of my favorite Fisk Gamemasters. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks, Kevin. For some reason I have a hard time getting decent pics of that knife. It has such great detail and my representation does it no justice. Having said that, I snapped a few more pics that are better than the last one. Please enjoy.
