MCUSTA TAKE, has seen a lot of pocket time, also shows some darkening from contact with food. I ground down the screw heads a bit so that they would be more flush with the contours of the handle. $90 see

"FIGHTIN' BULL" 2-blade slippie made by Wendell Carson - he buys the parts and hand-assembles them, then sells on Fleabay. I have been looking at his knives for over a year and finally grabbed this one, which he calls a mini-gunstock trapper. Measures 3.5" closed, mohogany jigged bone scales, 420 SS blades, NS bolsters & pins. Springs are medium strong, which makes this an easy knife to open & close. F&F is VG but not exc, it's not up to the standards of a Case/Bose collaboration but then it doesn't cost $300 either. $45
**I also have a GORGEOUS Claude Montjoy custom slippie with pearl inlays & engraving that I bought from another forumite recently but, as I feared, it's a little small for me. 2 3/8" blade length, 5 1/4" total length, relieved liners. Wharnie with unknown blade steel (he seems to use mostly ATS-34). F&F is outstanding, pearl is amazing, comes in a little pocket slip sheath. Some light pocket wear. $350
Might be interested in trades, can't think of anything offhand but lemme know what you've got.
