Purty knife and nice pics - I can smell the burlap.:D

thanks, glad to hear that from you, master primble :) although i dont know what purty means (even leo doesnt) but i guess its nothing indecent ;)

Beautiful knife Bjoern. GEC sure knows how to match their bone and jigging to the frame pattern. It's one of many things they do so well.

Best regards

Robin

Google and Urban Dictionary knows: Purty - Slang for pretty, often used affectionately

;):D

Purty is Southern American colloquial English for Pretty. And Primble is right - that knife is PURTY!! OH

I'll agree with all....well, just myself, that is one handsome knife, and great photography.

Great knife and great photo skills! Thanks for sharing. I love the texture of that burlap background.

I love the #81 - one of my absolute favorites. That's a beauty!! That bone and jigging is awesome.

I have to say, I hated jigged bone until recently.... I picked up a #48 in autumn gold jig and it was a life changing experience! Your #81 looks like it has almost the same covers and I think it's gorgeous! I'm not kidding when I say this knife has made a jig bone convert out of me. Congrats on your acquisition!

oh, title changed...it was a bit nasty i have to admit but somehow funny (i hope i made some guys smile when they read it)...we keep our pocket knifes in our trouser pockets...ambigous...but ok...at least i didnt write pants ;)
arizona: believe it or not but your blackwood #81 is the reason why i got the one above, just loved the long pull too much to not do it.
draggat: thanks and welcome, convert...muhaha...before i joined this forum i NEVER saw a jigged bone handle because here in austria (mostly german knives) most of the handles are ebony wood or some other kind of wood, so this is kinda exotic to me...i love the look of old knives where you see the years in the wear of the bone handle.
