Anyone have one of these? How do you like it? I've been wanting another pocketable fixed blade and something a little different than my Woodswalker.

The Gent's Scapel is a very well made knife that stands head and shoulders above the Woodswalker.

I bought a Woodswalker a while back and I guess it's an OK knife for $10 bucks but it is really little more than a glorified paring knife.

I meant to cast no asperions on the Woodswalker. Mine gets used a lot from skinning a feral hog on down and day in day out I carry it about as much as any of my knives (with the exception of my keychain Rambler). I think it is one of the best buys out there. I was just trying to justify another, small fixed blade purchase:)

I meant no disrespect to the Woodswalker, either. It is a decent little knife for $10 bucks (I keep one in my tackle & glove box) but the Gent's scapel is a much more substantial knife.

Could you post a picture of the Woodswalker next to the Gent's Scalpel for size comparison?

Dumb question--how positive is the guard on the Gent's Scalpel? I have a Woodswalker and I like the knife, but the self-guard is too small to really be of use. Also, how does the guard compare to the Krein Pocket Bowie?
