Gents, recently my father passed on and left me with a fixed 3" blade Damascus steel stag-horn handle Birt knife. Dad purchased it new from the Three Rivers Archery in Ft. Wayne IN. back in the late '80's early '90's. I do have the original sales tag that shows $600 firm. Don't know the model or the value. I would post a picture - but can't seem to download pics on this page. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Arizona Custom Knives has listed some Sid Birt knives they sold some time back

Apologies I have no helpful info for you OP.

But I do like that knife.

Sid Birt is one of the makers shown. I believe he passed away a few years ago, but he was pretty well known, especially in the 80's, 90's. He was a mastersmith, and even had a few knives copied by the Franklin Mint for one of their things they put out.

Gents -
Thanks so much for your replies. I did visit Arizona Custom Knives. They had four that were sold, yet none looked like this one. Anyone know it's model name/number by chance? Cheers!

Try emailing Arizona and asking if you can send them these pics. If they’re willing to look at them, they might be able to identify it or give you the name/email of someone who can.

Beautiful knife. Looks a lot like a Buck 113 Ranger.

A lot of makers don't give model names. Some are very proud of only using any particular pattern only once. You might not find what you want.
