Genuine or Fake ??

Is this AK-47 genuine or is it a fake.

It has a liner lock which ring alarm bells with me , or is it an older model ?.

Definitely fake. The original AK-47 had the Ultra Lock (their version of the Axis Lock) and then it switched to the Tri-Ad lock. It also doesn't have a flipper tab.

To reiterate what jlauffer said - ALL cold steel AK-47 knives with a flipper tab are fakes. The flipper tab makes it an easy way to spot the fakes. They have been sold on the bay for years and continue to be sold on the bay almost everyday. Sometimes for over $100.

I carry my Cold Steel AK-47 on a regular basis. It does not look like the one pictured. I call fake. Glad you did not pay $$ for it.
