Geogie Is Back .... And he Needs a BUSSE!

George would roll over in his grave at the state of affairs in our country. He was right, Eisenhower should have let him go to Moscow. :D It boggles the mind to think of how different this world would be today but for the decisions of a few men throughout history. Great video and dead on.

I like the one person who commented that they didn't appreciate the language, but the message was good. If you have ever heard any of the recordings of Patton giving his speeches, he could cuss with the best of them.
 
The original scene in the movie Patton is undoubtedly one of the greatest speeches in cinematic history. G.C. Scott's portrayal was truly Oscar worthy. If Patton was 1/10th the military genius and arrogant bastard that Scott portrayed he would have wiped the Russians off the face of the planet and those left behind would be speaking English as their primary language. If only he was allowed to push his way into Asia. There may not have been a Cold War. Or a reason to support Afghannies who would later turn on the U.S. by supporting terrorist activities. Or a reason to give a hoot about the oil in the Middle East since we would be able to pump millions of barrels out of Siberia. The world may actually have been a better place because of him.

Patton was (and is) an American hero and icon to the highest degree. I'm no fan of the current war situation we are facing, but if we could bring him back it would likely be over in a matter of days. Please do not take this as an attack on our military forces deployed across the world. I have nothing but the utmost respect for them. I hope everyday that the "minds" in D.C. bring them home ASAP, so no more lives are lost. It could be done a better way. Thanks for letting me ramble.
