I'm in desperate need of a Herron knife photo fix. Can anyone help out? Fighters, hunters, folders, or even an old rusty butcher knife from George's kitchen drawer will do. I don't care! :D

Thank you!

Okay, that's a start. :D

Wonderful collection! Thanks for posting.

Used to own this one :)

That is a beautiful knife. I love the charactaristics of the wood. If you ever want to get rid of it, please let me know.:D

George Herron is a living legend knifemaker, knowing him and his dear wife for the past 10 years has been gracious and Genos mentor. We were doing the Palmetto Sportsman Classic in Columbia and Mr. George always has drawn a large crowd of people. One lady actually paid 100.00 for a pipe he had smoked tobacco out of, she insisted and left happy!:D

Kotaka,
That's a very nice sub-hilt!
Cindy,
I didn't know Mr.Herron taught Geno.

Would you be interested in a trade? I have 2 Herron ivory Sub-Hilts and I would be willing to trade one of them if you were interested.
Send me an email and I will forward you some pics.

Thanks,

Geno makes some beautiful Herron-inspired knives.
He more than does them justice. I currently own
five of Geno Denning's knives-(had seven, but gave two to my hunting
partners). Geno certainly learned well from Mr. Herron.
It's impressive to see that level of quality pass from one maker to another.
