GenO just sent me these pics of George Herron's Y2K knives. He asked that I post them and said that he'd come along later and give some details about them. One request - please DO NOT CONTACT Mr. Herron. These knives have already been sold. If you have any questions about the knives, please post them here and GenO will do his best to get the answers for you. Thanks, and enjoy.

These knives look beautiful! GenO said that they depict major events of the last century. Each has an ivory handle with a picture honoring an event. I would like to know all the events that they honor. Too bad that there are not detailed pictures of all of them...21 in all. Thanks for the pics Kelly. Hope GenO gets on and gives more details...

Hi yall there were twenty of these and one prototype made. They were built approx.9-10 months ago and have been with Sandra Brady for the past few months while she did the scrimshanding. Before Mr. George got them back they were photographed by Weyer for publication in one of the magazines but I aint saying no mo bout that right now. On the signature side the scenes all depict important events from the past hundred years or so. Some include, The Wright Brothers, The Stock Market Crash, The Holocaust, World War One, Man Landing On The Moon, The Atomic Bomb the list goes on but I cant recall all of the events at this moment, but we will all get to see and hear more about them in the months to come. They are models designed for the Y2K project. Mr. George says they are a little something old, a little something new. Sometimes I wonder when the master sleeps, I guess this answers the post What Happens To Old Knifemakers huh? You will see these again mark my words. When you are a"Cutlery Hall Of Famer" with knives in the Smithsonian Institute your work will be treasured by us all for many years to come. I think that may be called a living " Legend" sure is to me. Thanks GenO
