Hello everyone,

I was asked to donate a knife for the GCKG scholarship raffle for our winter meeting coming up. It is damascus made by Stephan Fowler, which he did as a demo for one of our meetings. I was lucky enough to get a piece of it, so I forged this.

It is 9 3/4" long, blade length is 5" from tip to guard. The guard is wrought iron, and the handle is locally harvested oak I have had sitting on my handle material shelf for about 2 years.

What do ya'll think?

Ok guys, just an update:

After looking over the knife and holding it more, I decided that the handle was a bit to thick. I asked my wife what she thought of it over all, and with out me saying anything, she confirmed the handle was a little thick. So, I took it back out into the shop and sanded it down some. It feels much better now, and I think it looks better as well.
