georgia

I'm not sure, but the way I understand what I've read is that anything under 2" can be concealed, anything over needs to be in plain sight or have a CCP.

Actually, the under 2" rule is just for section 16-11-127 of the GA code where the term "weapon" is used. And "weapon" is used only in reference to school zones. Which means you can carry anything you want and even conceal it so long as it is not determined to be a "knife designed for the purpose of offense and defense". Which is not enumerated specifically in the law, so as long as you do not commit any crimes with your knife, carry what you want. just be careful about "public events" such as sporting events, public places (i.e. courthouse), museums, and other places that have security personnel. Oh, and don't carry a knife bigger than 2" to school.

Years ago, the sheriff operating the metal detector at the court house held on to my switchblade for me while I went in to pay my fine, returning it to me as I came out. I wouldn't try that today.
