gerber 06 auto g10 vs aluminum

gerber 06 auto g10 vs aluminum. Which one is preferred? I like the aluminum because of the natural wear you get. But the g10 is lighter.

I have the aluminum handle one. Is pretty heavy overall. 7.14 ounces. Nearly half a pound!

Aluminum handles tend to get dents and scratches when you drop them on concrete, especially if the knife is heavy. My 06 is aluminum, but I have not yet dropped it on concrete to see how well it survives. Aluminum also gets kind of cold in winter, even Florida winters. So if I could get another 06 auto with G10, I would.

Can you feel the g10 one I'm person? G10s not all the same. Spydercos g10 is very grippy. I handled a benchmade 940 in g10 and was suprised how slippery it was, the aluminum 940 was easier to hang on to
