Gerber 06 Auto

Hi Everyone-
Does anyone have any first hand experience with the gerber 06 Auto?
I interested in user impressions, quality info (especially in regard to lock-up), and any photos, especially from top or bottom angles. Yes, I realize Gerber isn't alot of peoples favorite, but this particular model has caught my eye.and I'm considering getting one. My EDC's are a ZT0302, and a benchmade skirmish, so I don't want the gerber if it will be a let down. Thanks in advance for your help!

i had the gerber/emerson alliance auto, & even though it was u.s. made, it opened slow & there was blade play. it wasnt as good as a microtech or protech.it didnt seem like it was worth the 150.00 ,which was cheap for this one. i sold it off eventually.is this the one that has a blade shape similar to their lmf infantry fixed blade?that model is one of their only other quality knife they got going......

I looked at the alliance in person and I wasn't real impressed either. I'm hoping the 06 is better as I do like the size and shape- the blade profile is very similar to the LMF.
