Handle one? I havent even seen one other than in magazines, and you are the first person I have heard that has one! Where did you get yours, and how much was it?

hey guys,
well I have to tell you that I am disappointed but I only got to play with the Airframe for a little while.
I have a customer that came in with a few various prototypes and he had an Airframe that he was going to trade me for a Microtech
SOCOM. When he came back to the store to complete the trade he had decided to back out because he decided he needed to keep it.

I have some ordered and thought I had a sure thing going with the trade but I guess I will have to wait till my order comes in.
thanks guys,
Roger

It's good to see companies like Gerber, Buck, and Shrade jumping on the sportknife bandwagon.

They've all started to shed their "ho-hum" mainstream image. A good thing since they have the big $$ for research and development.
I love that Buck Strider knife which keeps flashing in the pop-up window at this forum.

I went to Gerber's homepage. What a dump! They don't even have a NEW products page? I can't even locate info on the Walker folder.

Nonbox,

Here you go.

And tomorrow when you wake up it will be worse.

I kinda like it. I don't like the air holes in the handle. IMO, it seems too "artsy-fartsy" for a tac knife. Just personal taste.

I'd prefer something more aggressive like "bullet holes" (I know it's cliche), or another symmetrical design. Just personal once again.

I like the high-end materials they use, but prefer the design of the Michael Walker folder from Gerber http://www.bestknives.com/bestknives/ger58inwals.html

I hope both of them are a vast improvement over the A/F Combat and Covert line. Especially the liner action.
