Greetings,
I am looking for a couple of black replacement screws for my Gerber Applegate Fairbairn Covert Mini.
I need one for the top and one bottom on the left scale opposite of the belt clip side.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Chip

My first suggestion would be to contact Gerber (contact info on their website).

A few years back in 2020 another member related his story of needing to replace a missing screw from a Gerber knife, he contacted Gerber, and they sent him a free set of screws for his knife. Surprised me.

It's worth a try.

The alternative is to figure out what size the missing screws are (thread pitch, length, head diameter), and find a source. But you might be limited to what's available, and you might not get the drive type you would prefer (like maybe hex socket rather than torx).

Thanks for the reply.
I sent an email to Gerber today and will wait for the reply.
Thanks for the last suggestion. I looked online for small amounts but so far I would have to buy more than I need.
I guess I could package the excess and sell them on eBay, I have a store, if need be.

Which version of the mini Covert is it? It looks like they've made a few different versions.

I have a full-size Covert purchased back in 2001 when they were still made in the US (USA on the blade). I checked the handle screw size and it's 1-72 SAE. But if yours is a later version made in China then the screws are likely metric.
