I have a Gerber AR 3.25, and it's always had a little blade wobble when gripped by the blade and forced up and down, so I took it apart, discovered that the hammer/tang fit was fine, and I think the culprit has to do with the spring and lever. I tightened the spring and put it back together, but it's still there. I don't have to force it much to get it to rock back and forth, does anyone have a solution? Neither my Buck or Spyderco lockbacks have a similar issue, and one of them is from the 70's. I realize it's a $40 knife, but the Delica was less and I'm very happy with its lockup. Maybe a lemon?

:) Oddly enough, my EDC is a Gerber AR 3.50 and has remained tight and secure through 2 years of use and abuse. I had two Buck Crosslocks and both came down with blade wobble in a very short period of time. I guess you pay your money and take your chances. Try contacting Gerber and see what they are willing to do about it. I have had and still have many Gerbers and have always been pleased with them, with the exception of the brittle blade on my BMF that got a chip about the size of half a dime in it when a vicious swing connected with a leg bone, and the fact that they are now made in Taiwan, like my AR 3.50.
