I have a Gerber AR 3.0 black blade partially serrated I bought at Target probably 15 years ago. It's a GREAT little knife for what I paid for it, IMHO.
In the last two years on this forum, I don't recall ever seeing one for sale or trade on the exchange.
My questions are, am I the only one on here who has an affinity for this knife? Do people have them and just not want to give them up? Have all of the ones bought in the 90's been beat to crap and discarded? Where are they?
I'm not phishing for trades or anything. Like I said, I still have mine from forever ago. Just curiosity.

Im glad you like your knife. TBH, the reason you do not see them on the exchange is because they would sell for so little that it would basically not be worth it after the shipping and time/effort involved.

I have one and carried it a few weekends ago.

It was the first imported Gerber knife I bought.

You can still buy them, they're lots of them on the web.

Yeah, I see them here or there on different sites for around $30-$40. But a lot of the time they look like a more recent version of the one I have.

That's awesome I have a Sheffield branded Home Depot made in China knife that is identical to this one. I keep it in my change drawer in my car. It has plastic washers but it opens up very quickly for a cheapie. I beat on the thing all the time and its still keeps on going.

The one I have is about as old as your knife. I remember the package was marked "Gerber International"
But you're right, there are more recent versions, Because I was on Gerber's site and they still have this knife in their line-up.

Check this out 'member I said I had some Sheffield branded made in China job from home depot?
