There are not many Gerber fans around here. There are a few. I am not one of them, and leave it at that. I am sure someone will come along to help you.

Haven't seen one in the flesh.

Tantos aren't as popular as they were years ago as many feel they lack utility.

Gerber in a way sold out to the masses, to make more money off Joe Public. It's too bad to because I WAS a fan for a long time.

Agreed. I was a big fan of Gerber for a good period of time and have left them behind now.

Ditto. All that I have left from Gerber is a Mark I. They USED to be my favorite knife company.
