Gerber BMF and unkown Gerber boot knife

I am not sure if this is the correct section to post this question so I apologize in advance if I am in the wrong section.

Anyhow...I am trying to find the year of mfg. of the two knives mentioned in my title based on the serial numbers listed on the knives. I have spent several hours on this site and on the web trying with no success. Would someone be so kind as to point me in the right direction.

Try the Bernard Levine Knife Collecting and Identification sub-forum. If they can't give you the info outright, they can probably steer you in the right direction. Pictures would help

i have the bmf it has the saw back, iv'e seen them with it and without.mine i got in 88.
don't have any more info sorry.
