Gerber BMF knives

Hi, I'm Wilderness-trek and I'm new to BladeForums. I've been collecting Gerber BMFs since first year of production back in '85-'86. I'm always looking to acquire more. I would like to ask for anyone's help in locating someone. I was in communication with him on other similar forums, about year and a half ago, but lost contact with him. His user name was Daniel Nighteyes, and was also a fan of BMFs. He was at that time doing research and compiling data on the BMFs, e.g., serial number runs for each of the four production models(all BMFs were numbered), pre-production prototypes, the various changes in the sheaths, etc. Any assistance would be appreciated. If any member here is into BMFs, I'd like to hear from you, too. Thanks.
