I recently bought a Gerber Bolt Action knife. It’s in decent shape, but the pivot pin covers are missing. Does anybody have either the Gerber logo or plain polished steel covers for sale? Or does anyone know where I could buy them? TIA.

Recognizing that this is an old post. This is a common problem with the Gerber, Bolt Action knives. I've never encountered a source for them. However, the hole diameter is standard, and it wouldn't take much to punch out a thin sheet of stainless (or any material for that matter). I've done it successfully with a sheet of black rubber and cemented them in place. Didn't look too bad. Finding, duplicating the earlier medallions with the logo and pile side would be a tall order.

What size punch did you use?

What thickness of sheet metal?
