Just got gerber chameleon II from local targrt for 13$. I saw them selling everywhere else for 20+ so I shought it was a good deal and I was interted in fingerhole knifes at a moment.

but up to date it was only disapointment:
1. knife feals very cheap. (in the hand and at look. you can't even dissasable it)
2. lock is weak. there are some blade movement up down.. when it's locked. it's looks like spring is too week.
3. It was nicely oilded and everyting but still it almoust impossible to open it with one hand.
4. I got it new in the box (sealed plastic thing) and it came wit some nasty craches on the blade.

bottom line: knife looks and fiels like cheap CCC POS. worth less than 5$.

maybe everyone else got better experience with it ?

P.S. one good thing about this knfe it's sharp :) just cut myslef.. It's the only reasons I don't returning it (never let away knife that ever byted me, if it was my fault)

I bought one of these about a year ago. One of the worst knife purchases I've made. Impossible to open with one hand, and almost impossible to open with two hands. The handle does not fit my hand very well at all. I also have doubts about the lock holding up over an extended period of time. Granted, mine was sharp out of the package, but what good is it if you can't get the knife open?

I never got one, but always wanted one as a kid.

Good thing I never got it, I might have been turned off of knives forever! :)
