Does anybody have an opinion about the new Gerber nail clipper/ pocket knife?
Thanks,
Mike

I have seen them at Wal-Mart but have never handled one. Probably pretty good for the fingernails and I might have to get one. Seems like I can never find my clippers when I need them!

I handled one in Walmart. It felt like really good quality, better action than the standard "Trim" brand clipper. It looked like the clippers were compound action, with a hinged pivot.

I didn't have much time to look at it though, my wife was with me and kept saying "You don't need another knife" :( .

I'm sure that the next time I come across one alone I'll be buying one.

I can't think of a worse thing to say to a knife nut. Sorry.

It's not so bad. I'm taking her shopping to an outlet mall the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and there just happens to be a a knife and gun show the same day in the expo center across the street from the mall. So If I happen to find the clippers there I'll post a review.

I ordered a pair from Blue Ridge Knives. I couldn't wait to avaluate mine, so I asked for your opinions. Mine should be here any day. I will post an eval as soon as I can.

i've got a pair of gerber clippers. the clippers portion is great. the scissors are ok and are similar to those on a classic-sized victorinox sak. tha knife blade is similar to the sak as well, but came very dull. it sharpend easily. they seem well put together. made in korea. $8.96 at walmart.
