Here's one that rarely comes out of the safe.
I was carrying this at the IWA show in '96. It's a first production run that I had from their Marketing VP; we used to do some work for them. I ran into COL Applegate at the Boker table and he saw the knife sticking out of my pocket. I brought it out and showed him that both edges were sharp "as they ought to be" in his words. He pulled out a sharpie pen he was using for signatures and signed the blade. It's been in the safe ever since.
I miss seeing him around the shows. He was a good guy to talk to.
