Gerber FAST draw

I have a Gerber FAST Draw Assisted Opening knife, that stopped working, not opening or locking in place. After taking the knife partially apart found problem, spring had broken but in the process I lost the small bearing located under the opening/locking thumb stud. I have been unable to locate the bearing size and have ordered several different sizes but none seem to work,i.e. either too big or too small. I have tried contacting GERBER about this but they want me to mail them the knife for repair (shipping is expensive) and refuse to give any information or just send the part(s) needed for repair. Does anyone know the size of the bearing? I fixed the spring by just clipping off the broken end and bending up 2 additional rows vertically on the spring.
