Gerber Folding Hunter Blade Shape?

I have several original (1969-1970) Gerber Folding Hunter knives. I've seen a couple of these knives for sale on eBay with drop point blade tips. Are the drop point tips original? All the blades in my collection have straight back blades.

I don't know about that early, but when I was selling them in the mid-seventies, they were available either way. I still have a Magnum Folding Hunter with a drop point blade from that time frame.

I got my Gerber Folding Hunter ~'70. It has a straight blacked blade. Don't remember ever seeing any other blade style, but that doesn't mean there weren't any.
