gerber force II ???

hello all! i am brand new to the forum. i collect ancient bronze weapons, gerber fixed blades, and british commando daggers.

i have what i believe to be a gerber force II. it is serial number 001210. i believe it to be pre-command II. i only have the knife, no box. any ideas? cant attach a pic for some reason. spent almost an hour? why??? what am i not seeing?
