This is a smoking deal of a knife, really. The handle just falls into your hand and nestles there, like it was made for it. Blade is shaving sharp and evenly sharpened. Workmanship is very nice. Sheath is leather and a "mountain man" style that covers enough of the handle to omit need for a snap strap to hold it in. Leather is thick and sewn and riveted. The balance is very nice. Control is very good due to the way it just snugs into your hand. Handle is very comfortable, yet secure. I give it two thumbs and both big toes up. If you've been wondering about the Freeman, it's well worth the price and then some.
