I wanted to know if anyone had any reviews on the Gerber Gator drop point folding knife, with the 154CM stainless steel blade?

Sure, I just took mine off my belt. For the price this is one of my favorite knives. I bought it as a beater for work but there's not much you could do to hurt it. I have it a few months but I haven't had to sharpen it yet. The grip is fantastic! If you had to use it alot the grip feels great in the hands. For a no nonsense do whatever you ask of it folder, it definitely fits the bill.

The Gator is (last time I checked) one of the few Gerber models still made here in the USA.:)

I have had the oppertunity to handle a few of them, both the original and new Gator models (with the opening hole). Personally, I like the original model a little more, because actually using the opening hole is difficult- even with larger hands like mine. It really is a 2 hand opening knife.

The fit and finish seemed very good, and the Gator definetely seems like a good buy for the money.
