Gerber Guardian alternative?

I like the sheath, and no problem with the knife except for the "dagger" look to it. Does anyone have a BM instigator? I was wondering about the BM or the Spyderco Moran as an alternative with a variety if angles for carrying options and a sheath which just clips onto a belt.

An alternative for what? What are you planning on using it for? Are you talking about the Guardian-back up or the long discontinued Guardian? I like the Guardian backup so to upgrade I went for the Fallkniven garm G1. Way more robust, and it fits perfectly into the guardian sheath! If you want more utility with a variety of carry options maybe a Blackhawk Kalista might be an ok choice? Or you could get an Izula and just be done with it.

I think they've got a newer tanto version of the Guardian. Might be worth a look.
