Gerber Guardian I

Ok, I just bought a Gerber Guardian I on ebay and can't seem to find any information on this particular model anywhere. It isn't the small backup but the next size up with solid black handle and a boot/belt sheath. The knife is new in the box. I haven't received it yet and I'm wondering what it's value is and when it was made/dicontinued. I'm also wondering what is the correct lenght. It was advertised as 5" blade with oal of 6 1/8" which can't be right. Thanks in advance for any help.
 
i recently got a guardian, the blade is about 3" IIRC, and it has a fairly trick little sheath w/a clip, i thought the guardian was the smallest and the mark 1 the next larger, then the mark 11, i didnt think there were 2 sizes of guardian, as far as value, i would say if its in LNIB shape about $75 or so, i think they were made in the 80's/early 90's, hope this helps
