Two Questions for you.
1. What do you think is the best way to sell a knife? Is Ebay a good choice?
2. How can I find out more about the Gerber Guardian II?
I have a 7,000 series serial number on my Gerber Guardian II and wanted to find out more information on it. What year it was manufactured, what it is made of? What is it worth?
I am intending on selling it... likely on ebay... but need to find out more.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Gerber guardian information is somewhat lacking. Factory records are sketchy, but depending on the sheath and the sword in stone logo could give you an idea as to date. condition would also play a part in value. good pictures and post if available.
 
over two years later i doubt this is still applicable, but pending condition, i may be interested in buying the Gerber Guardian II.

There was not really a need to reopen this thread. youi could have just gone online and got one.

Besides, if he is like me, he changed his collection a long time ago:D
 
i bought a guardian a couple yrs ago, LNIB shape, IIRC $60.

they arent worth the dollar a mark 11 is imho, not even close.
 
looking for info on a older Gerber Guardian II I bought this originally in Panama at the Fort Sherman PX cant pin point the year, but i will find my old ration card. If I knew how to post pics here, I would post a pick of the serial, this one is "D0008S" just trying to find a dating system on these, Not the same as the Mark II or the Command II 1 and 1/2 edge
 
Long time later but I have a Guardian II Cammo, from tool steel serial A1041T. Great condition after all these years.
