Gerber guardian sheath

Hey, I have an older Loveless Gerber Guardian dagger and the original leather clib sheath is lookin kind of ratty and not up to par. Does anyone know if one of the new plastic clip sheathes that come with the modern versions will fit and how can i get one.? Thanx for the input.

Just tried one from the old leather sheath in a newer sheath: Worked just fine.

... as to where to get just a sheath??? I have no clue. You might just get someone to make you one.

there are several guys on BF who can make ya a custom one, normark for one, better than the old one imho - give them a try - usually in the $30 range.........

One significant problem with the plastic Guardian sheath is that it's quite noisy. The knife will actually rattle a bit inside the sheath, and makes a plastic "klack!" when removed and reinserted.
 
Sounds good i just posted A thread at the 'knives wanted' forum so hopefully ill get a response custom sounds ok. I could never get Gerbers web site to work so whos knows if they would even deal.
