Does this sheath hold the knife secure?

Any real life knowlege would be helpful.

What about the SOGPentagon back-up?

The Gerber sheath is very secure, you can actually adjust just how tight you want the knife held in the sheath. Its a very nice little back-up knife for under $40.00.

Yeah, you can decide how stiff the retention should be. But besides that nice feature and the reversible clip, I have to say that the plastic feels a bit cheap and it's quite bulky.
