Gerber Harsey Hunter question

I just received a new in the box Gerber Harsey Hunter from a BF member. The one I have has the leather sheath. Do they still make these? I have seen the ones with the tactical sheath- is there a difference in knives, or just different sheaths?

I will post pics when I open it.
